العرقسوس - Licorice

العرقسوس (Licorice) هو نبات معمّر تُستعمل جذوره على نطاق واسع في الطبّ التقليدي وكعنصر لإضفاء النكهة. تمتاز الجذور بطعمٍ طبيعيّ حلوٍ وترابيّ بسبب مركّب يُسمّى الغليسيريزين، وهو أحلى بكثير من السكر. يوجد العرقسوس عادةً في شاي الأعشاب والحلويات والمستخلصات والمستحضرات الطبية.
